BDENT's Occupied Wednesdays (RECAP + VIDEOS) - 5.23.12

I've got a million things going on. Okay, maybe not a million, but I'll guesstimate about 30. Brandon, of  Brandon David Entertainment Group (BDENT), undoubtedly feels my joy. Sifting through all the things you have to do, there is no easier method to deciding what needs to be done besides following your heart. & I'm telling ya, when you get there, it's always amazing.

Brandon's a dope dude :) We'd set up for me to cover Occupied Wednesday's months in advance. While I was excited to attend, my anticipation was nothing in comparison to Brandon's. Whenever I "interview" people (and I detest that word) I try to find out what they really want. What they really love. Seeing how Brandon up and quit his 9-to-5 to pursue a venture in music, event production and talent management... I had no choice but to love Occupied Wednesday's right along with him.

The Industry Alternative = @EastBrookFamily

The Industry Alternative was one hell of an event. since JWWWD Magazine covers whatever the f*ck topic I chose to highlight in the moment, this seemed like a good one. I don't know why, it's just what my gut told me. When I attend music events, I'm never really sure what I'm doing there beside sifting out the dope from the dirt. Most people are garbage --to be frank. Most performances are only semi-bearable. The mic is powerfully dangerous. It echos both the good and the bad. My job is to be as many places & sniff out the dopest of the dope.

I'm everywhere. Check my Foursquare ;)  The world is mine (fyi, in case no one's told you). Making it out to Jersey was --for lack of a better word --a b*tch. Not to mention, I tend to completely disregard "press check-in" times. I disregard a lot of shit --because most shit tends to be of a particular kind: Bullsh*t.

HollyWood - 24:7 (REVIEW)

by @President Ella

Goon & a gentlemen/ G & a gangsta, HollyWood's compact mix-tape is concise, poignant & real& When I say "real" I don't necessarily mean thug shit, although HollyWood would like you to know that @EastBrookFamily is just a group of dudes he grew up with -- who might also be known as "gutter muthaf*ckas" within the appropriate context.
